Dot Calm Wellness
Located on bustling 4th Street in the Mission neighbourhood of Calgary, this bright, warm, and welcoming clinic was thoughtfully and imaginatively designed to reflect our clients’ philosophy to provide all of the professional services of a clinic in a space that feels a sanctuary of quiet and calm in the middle of the city.
A white and wood design palette was used along with plenty of greenery, to create the aura of natural warmth and relaxation. Maple millwork and walnut floors are accented with angular light fixtures, and geometric art throughout, along with bold furniture that adds not only to the aesthetic but to the comfort of the space.
Custom details abound, starting with the built-in reception desk with extensive storage space, a light-up glass display case, and a built-in beverage bar in the reading-nook-style waiting room. Behind reception, the staff area doubles as a laundry room, with a wall-mounted folding table-top that stows away to allow access to the ergonomic shelves for folding and sorting laundry. And because every detail matters, we fitted each of the four treatment rooms with handmade number signs.
A courtyard-like area divides the treatment rooms from the waiting area, enhancing the flow from public to private and back again, and allowing for any of those “oops I forgot to tell you” moments to happen.
